Brief Intro

One of the most excited trek. Normally to reach a high altitude trek it takes 5 or 6 days but here your reach within two days. Trek is moderate. We start our trek from Gulaba .Which is 24 km away from Manali.

This lake is located in Peer Panjal Range. It is named after Maharishi Bhrigu. He is a great saint of Indian history. It is said that they used to this place to meditate.

During this trek we descend through village Vashisht, It is also named after Maharishi Vashisht. Here you can take bath in hot spring pool. There is temple of Lord Shiva, Maharishi Vashisht and Lord Rama.

Detailed itinerary

Pick you around 10 Am from near Manali Bus stand. 1 and half hours through vehicle to Gulaba depends on traffic. after that trek till our campsite its 6km approx. to Rolla. During the trek you can see beautiful view of Solang valley and both the Himalayan range Dholadhar and Peerpanjal. Also some beautiful peak nearby like Friendship peak, Hanuman tibba, Seven sister, ladakhi peak etc.

We start our trek little early in the morning with pack lunch. the lake remains covered with snow most of the year. After spending some time near the lake we move toward our camp Pandu ropa.

We descend pandu ropa to Vashisht today , path are at few point more steep but trail is more wider so you can see a visible path, Also can meet other visitor who are doing apposite trek. After reaching at vashisht you can take hot water bath at pool. Our trips ends here so from here you can walk to manali or can take texi or cab till manali. Its just about 1 km away from manali.

Inclusions & Checklist

Accommodation during trek (Camping) meal on sharing basis while on trek days.

16. Plastic cover To put every stuff specially cloths inside this and then put this inside the beg.

Note:- We can get back Gulaba  from the Bhrigu Lake if there is heavy snow.

Ideally this trek for beginners and experienced trekkers is medium, may be for experienced trekkers it can be lighter. But during our 3 days journey we are covering distance around 27 km approx.. The secret to covering this distance comfortably lies in building your cardiovascular endurance. For that you need to jog at your place regularly at least 3 km/15minute. Start other exercise like cycling , swimming , rock climbing etc. to boost up your inner strength.

You can do some stretching exercise like quadriceps, hip flexors, push up, crunches, side plank left and right, lower back muscles, shoulder exercise.

How to Reach Manali

You can take bus or volvo from ISBT Delhi or from Manjnu Ka Tilla.

You can book your flight from to Bhunter (Kullu). After Bhunter it is about 50 km to manali.you can take taxy or bus froum Bhunter to Manali.
